Our domestic American Bison have also been raised on the 18,000 acre Skyrider Wilderness Ranch in the Tabiona Valley of the Uinta Basin. They have been grass fed and grass finished for authenticity, reminiscent of their ancestors that roamed the Great Plains. Bison has a lighter, more delicate flavor than beef. Some say its slightly sweeter. Bison is high in iron and many folks say that its “earthy” in essence, but Bison doesn’t have a gamey taste.
