Tabiona is a town in Duchesne County located in Utah. Nestled in the beautiful Uinta mountain range, this place is the perfect environment for our animals to grow peacefully. With more than 18000 acres of land and all the infrastructures necessary to raise, harvest and process quality meat we deliver what we promise. From prime Angus to highly marbled American wagyu, the taste, texture and tenderness of our meat reflect the environment in which our animals have been raised.

Let’s start from the beginning. ‘Wagyu” is meant to refer to all Japanese beef cattle, with “Wa” meaning Japan and “gyu” meaning cow. For about 20 years starting in 1975, Japan authorized the export of a small number of its prized cattle. During this time period, American cattle breeders imported a select number of Japanese cattle.

They cross-bred some of their breeds with some high quality Japanese breeds giving rise to beef having the richness of Japanese beef with its intense marbling, and the flavor of our American cattle that makes American beef so delicious.

Wagyu beef is healthier than beef from other breeds of cattle due to a higher ratio of monounsaturated fatty acid as compared to saturated fatty acid. Wagyu cattle’s unique genetics gives the beef a higher percentage of omega-e and omega-6 fatty acids than other beef. 

Wagyu beef has the lowest cholesterol levels of all meats, even lower than fish or chicken, and it contains oleic acid which is considered good for your heart.

American Wagyu will be tastier than the usual cut of beef you can find and healthier for your body.
