This tender and flavorful cut of beef is consider the best for steaks worldwide. The Rib steak is cut from the rib of the cow between the chuck and the short loin. Ribeye steaks are mostly composed of the longissimus dorsi muscle but also contain the complexus and spinalis muscles. Processed and cut to preserve the outstanding taste that this cut has to offer, you won't be disappointed. In the United States, the term rib eye steak is used for a rib steak with the bone removed. Rib steak is best when it's cooked medium-rare which is about 6-8 minutes for a 1-inch-thick steak.
